Egline Samoei is a digital marketing consultant in Kenya, corporate trainer and digital communication professional with over 12 years of experience helping organizations, professionals and brands build stronger digital presence, communicate effectively and use digital platforms strategically.
She specializes in digital marketing strategy, social media marketing, digital communication, personal branding, AI in marketing, content strategy and social listening and media monitoring. Her work combines practical digital marketing experience with communication strategy, helping businesses and professionals move beyond simply being visible online to building credible brands, engaging the right audiences and achieving measurable results.

As a digital marketing consultant, corporate trainer and digital communication professional, Egline has worked on projects across the private sector, professional training, digital policy and development programmes. Through Samodigital Agency and Brand Moran, she has supported organizations and professionals with digital marketing strategy, social media management, content strategy, social listening, media monitoring, online reputation management and digital campaign planning. Her private-sector experience also includes managing digital communication and social media for professional service organizations, including legal and consulting brands.
She has done corporate training for organizations like Kenya Wildlife Service, Minet Kenya, Geminia Life Insurance, Magical Kenya, Kenya Tourism Board among others.
Egline has extensive experience as a digital communication consultant, supporting public-interest programmes, technology initiatives and major industry events with digital strategy, content development, social media management, stakeholder engagement, digital campaigns and performance reporting. Through the Kenya ICT Action Network (KICTANet) and the UK Government’s Digital Access Programme, she has supported initiatives including the Enhancing Digital Access and Community Resilience (EDACR) Project and the Strengthening Digital Communities (SDC) Project. Her work on SDC contributed to more than 30 million in online reach, while communication for EDACR has supported large-scale community mobilisation, digital-skills awareness and storytelling across underserved counties.
She has also supported digital communication for the Kenya Internet Governance Forum (KeIGF), contributing to campaigns that generated more than 100 million online impressions, as well as the Africa Tech Policy Summit, helping amplify conversations around internet governance, digital inclusion and technology policy. Her event communication experience also includes the Kenya Software & AI Summit 2025, where she managed multi-platform digital content, live coverage and performance reporting, with online conversation around the summit recording 72% positive sentiment.
Beyond consultancy and training, Egline has contributed to digital marketing curriculum development and curriculum review for professional and higher education programmes in Kenya. In 2025, she was selected as a subject-matter expert to develop the Digital Marketing curriculum for the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) under the World Bank-funded NYOTA Programme, contributing to Qualification Packs, National Occupational Standards and assessment guidelines designed to align vocational digital marketing training with industry and youth-employment needs. She has also contributed to digital marketing curriculum development for Mediacrest Training College, helping align learning content with current digital marketing practice and workplace skills. At the Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communications, she participated as an industry expert in the review of a proposed undergraduate Media and Communications programme, providing insights on digital media trends, emerging technologies, industry needs, employer expectations and the skills required of future communication professionals.
Her work also extends into digital inclusion, internet governance and public-interest communication. Between 2021 and 2025, she worked with KICTANet and the Kenya Internet Governance Forum (KeIGF), contributing to social media communication and the visibility of conversations around internet governance, technology policy and Kenya’s digital ecosystem. She also served as a member of the Kenya Internet Governance Forum Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG), contributing to stakeholder engagement around national internet governance discussions.
As a digital marketing trainer and corporate trainer, Egline has trained marketers, communication professionals, entrepreneurs, young professionals and organizational teams in social media marketing, digital strategy, content marketing, personal branding, AI in marketing, generative AI, online reputation management and emerging digital trends.
She is a DMI tutor at Simon Page Kenya and has delivered training, mentorship and speaking engagements through programmes and institutions including DW Akademie, Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communications, African Union youth programmes and DOT Kenya/GIZ initiatives.
