Egline holds a bachelor’s degree in Education English and Literature from Kenyatta University, and a professional diploma in Digital Marketing awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing(CIM). She also has a certification in Marketing Analytics Foundation, Introduction to Data Science using Python and Internet Governance from Kenya School of Internet Governance offered by KICTANet. She is also a member of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK)
She is also a contributor in various forums as a writer and speaker on emerging trends in the digital marketing space including digital trends and insights, social media insights, artificial intelligence, influencer marketing, social commerce, voice search, data privacy & more.
She has worked with brands local and international brands like: KICTANet, Fusion Estates Africa, Africa Higher Education Research Institute (AHERI), Covve, Wondershare, iMyfone, and iSkysoft Arbotec, Green Content park, Sort Africa, Dallas Black.Com, Calidad Systems and Corido Marketplace in writing various web content and creating social media content.
In March 2020, Egline was hosted at AfricaTweet Chat, a platform that seeks to expand marketing possibilities within Africa by hosting different digital marketing experts. She handled the topic Social Media Best Practices for Businesses during Covid-19.
Egline’s article “The Importance of Data Analysis and Data Analytics” was featured on Public Relations Society of Kenya PR Digest Issue N.o 2 publication.
